Christmas Portraits

Here's an example of one of the portraits I did for clients this year for the Holidays. This portrait was for a new JP friend and I was very happy to do it! The portrait is about 8x10" and done in graphite.

I'm always accepting commissions, just shoot me an email: sophy (at)sophytuttle.com.

Happy Holidays!!

If you live in Boston and go to cool places, you might start to see a poster I did for the awesome band called Tallahassee. This may also be true if you live in Providence or New York City. Here it is along with the sketch, in case you're not cool enough to see it in person. I highly recommend checking out their show as well.

Catfish

I finally finished the line drawing for the upcoming issue of ANE's Whole Terrain magazine. Now I'm starting to add color to some of my favorites. Here's a catfish that accompanies a poem called Currents. Prints available on my Etsy store!

Animal Skulls

Something I did on Thanksgiving. I love drawing bones and skulls, so it was a lot of fun to do. I'm still experimenting with color and finding things that work and things that don't.

Rollstone Studios

I've recently joined an artist's collective/gallery in downtown Fitchburg called Rollstone Studios. It's a great community with some nice studio spaces still available! The only cost is utilities. You can get to our website is here. We're still looking for some more artists to join us... if you're in the area it's a really incredible deal.

This fall, the artists are offering a few d

ifferent classes. Check out the flyer below to see if anything interests you!

Also, I'll be doing henna pumpkins on the first Thursday of October, which I believe is the 7th. It will either be at the studio on Main Street, or at the Concert Festival put on by Fitchburg State on the same day. Details to come!

Swine Flu is no Fun

Quick little swine flu illustration. Enjoy!

Natick Historical Society Posters

I'm currently working on a set of posters for the Natick Historical Society's 140th Anniversary. They're a great organization with a lot of really interesting stuff in their collection. I did a set of posters for them a few months back celebrating the rich sports history over there in Natick, MA and I guess they liked me enough to commission me again!

I'll post some pictures when I get a chance...
